HSM Golden Playa

We spent a glorious Mother-Daughter week here in early June. The staff were excellent. We were warmly greeted and looked after during our stay by Sumit at reception. He was so helpful and sweet and always greeted us by our names when he saw us, which I found so nice. I have to admit I was a little worried being on Playa de Palma that the location might be quite noisy as the party area Arenal is close by but I was amazed and delighted how quiet and calm our area in Balneario 13 actually was! The hotel was meticiously clean and modern. The room boasted a spectacular view, the shower was super powerful! Our lovely cleaner Pepa did a great job and was also very sweet. The restaurant and bar staff were hardworking, Ivan and Manolo always took the time to check in with us and ask us how our week was going. They were genuinely friendly. The food was excellent! We even had Cava at breakfast ☺️ We never had trouble finding sunbeds by the pool during the day. Beautiful smiling Paz would bring us our drinks by the pool. It was all just so lovely. The proximity to Palma and the Airport was also perfect! There is a busstop opposite the hotel which takes you right into Passeig el Borne (number 25) for only 2 Euro per person and the journey is only about 15 minutes. We mostly got a taxi back as buses tend to be fuller and traffic heavier leaving from the City. Mam and I had a wonderful week! We would definitely come back again! Cannot recommend it enough!

We loved the location of the hotel next to the promenade and beach - you can walk or cycle miles in each direction along the promenade. It was 15 - 20 mins by bus to Palma city (which is really worth visiting) and 15 mins by taxi to the airport. The sea was beautifully clear and very safe for swimming. Many yachts on the sea which was interesting. We had a fifth-floor Junior Suite at the front of the hotel which was well worth it, the room was a really decent size and the views of the beach and sea, also across to the mountains were amazing. The hotel was very clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food we thought was exceptional quality and also very varied. There is a lovely restaurant terrace close to the pool. The bar area has a very comfortable and attractive two-tiered terrace (which is not really shown in the photos) where you can enjoy lunch or drinks and a view of the sea across the road. The pool is safe and clean and the pool area is very well maintained, there are always sun loungers available, and the pool is not busy. A lovely hotel.

Perfect location. Just few steps away from the beach. The bus stop is at the door of the hotel. It was easy to reach everywhere (Palma city, airport, bus and train station, etc.). Walking distance from Palma Aquarium. The whole hotel was very clean. Good sized and comfortable room with amazing sea view. Nicely cooled with air conditioner. Nice and friendly staff. Everyone was very helpful at the reception, bar, restaurant and the cleaning ladies. The breakfast and dinner were amazing and very delicious. Huge selection of food varieties from soups, salads, mains, sides to desserts. Even they offered coffee and breakfast for us at 5:30am on the day we left the hotel. Good sized and clean swimming pool. The hotel is at the B13 area which is calm, peaceful, clean and well organised. Far from the party district. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Excellent hotel with perfect location on the beachfront of Platja de Palma. Lots of good restaurants and shops nearby. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast with lots of food options and good quality. The bicycle rent office in the hotel is good value and does not need deposits (for hotel guests). Overall the stay was a great experience.

Excellent location, we (a family of 3) had a Junior Suite with excellent sea views, the hotel is ideally situated right on the beach front, the hotel is clean overall, it is close to restaurants, shops and amenities, it is also close to "animated" areas, yet very quite. The personnel is friendly overall and ready to help (for renting a bike, a car, or to give you an advice). Good choice of food and drinks in the buffet.
